The Keystone State offers many learning opportunities for school groups. As one of the original 13 colonies, Pennsylvania has a plethora of historic sites like Gettysburg, Valley Forge and Washington Crossing. Of course, the city of Philadelphia is home to Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was drafted and signed. The City of Brotherly Love is also home to the Liberty Bell, which is another major attraction. School groups can combine a historical tour with volunteering at one of the many community service organizations in Pennsylvania.
